When you cancel, your Pro subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period. After that date, your account reverts to the Free plan — you are not cut off immediately.
Cancelling your subscription does not delete your files. All your projects remain in your account and are accessible on the Free plan. The difference is which features you can use to work on them.
For an up-to-date list of what's included in each plan, see linearity.io/pricing.
If you'd like a local backup before cancelling, export your projects from within the app. Available formats include SVG, PDF, and PNG, which can be opened in other apps, and .curve (Linearity's native format), which can be reopened if you resubscribe later.
If you change your mind, you can resubscribe at any time. Your files and Pro access are restored as soon as the payment goes through. See How to reactivate a cancelled subscription for steps.
Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but keeps your account and files intact. If you want to permanently remove your account and all associated files, that's a separate process — see Delete your account.
