Using Linearity as a guest user

You can start using Linearity right away without creating an account. Files are saved locally on your device, and you can create an account or log in at any time.

Getting Started as a Guest

When you first open Linearity, you can skip account creation and start designing immediately. To find your account options later, tap the Profile icon after onboarding.

Creating an Account

If you decide to create a new Linearity account, your local guest files will be automatically moved to your new account. You can sign up with:

Google
Apple
Email

Logging In to an Existing Account

If you already have a Linearity account and choose to log in, your guest files will be erased. The app will warn you before continuing, make sure to export anything important before proceeding.

Files cannot be recovered after logging in.

Restoring a Subscription

If you have an existing App Store subscription, you can restore it without logging in. Go to the Profile → Mange Subscription and tap Restore Purchase. This only works if you are signed in to the App Store under the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Stripe (web): Restoring a web subscription is not automatic, contact our support team and we'll help you restore access.

Upgrading to Pro

You can upgrade to a Pro plan directly from the Profile tab by tapping Upgrade to Pro.
